The Christmas Tree and Crib at St. Marys Dubai

The Christmas Tree at St. Marys Church Dubai is unique on its own.   Unlike the usual Christmas Trees, this Christmas Tree has no snow-sprinkled green leaves but instead there are colourful stars, shining bells and painted balls.

The members of Filipino Community and The Legion of Mary put their time, efforts, hard work and dedication in setting-up this huge tree.  The money collected from those parishioners who wish to display names of their loved ones is being spent for charity works.  A notable addition this year is the display of seven gift boxes representing seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The biggest Christmas Tree I've ever seen is the one made by Dubai Mall during last Christmas (2008).
